One of the Representatives, Ken Buck (R-CO) blamed Obama, and his Attorney General, for permitting the Russians to attack our election in 2016. He read a long list of countries where Russia had been involved in their elections, including the United States. He blamed the Democrats and John Reed and the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917.
But, it is very doubtful that Putin could have talked the Obama people into taking campaign info on his opponent, knowing or suspecting it was from Russia? The responsibility lies where it lies.
So, the argument about who is the "useful idiot" continues...

(25,226 posts)set the record straight and state the facts about Mitch's obstruction. That could have been nipped in the bud right after that Repug made the statement about Obama. Instead - they let that lie/miss truth slip right by - and guess what many gullible American People listening to this session - probably went away blaming Obama.

(19,963 posts)Everybody on Earth knew that Pooty hated Obama and Hillary because of their policies and sanctions stemming from his bad behavior. If he was going to interfere in the U.S. election it would assuredly be to help his oligarchs' pal Dumpy the Clown defeat Hillary who would naturally maintain or even strengthen the sanctions if she were to "win." That Obama would ever allow Pooty to do something like that is ludicrous.
3rd grade logic, Mr. Buck.
