@jdawsey1
Trump says homeless people are living in "our best highways, our best streets, our best entrances to buildings" where people pay "tremendous taxes" and want "prestige." Says he's speaking to tenants who "want to leave the country." He adds: "We'll be doing something about it."

(12,712 posts)So, homelessness is not a problem really. We homeless people are just like Trump, seeking prestige and attention. See, there is an ulterior motive to being domestically challenged. It's just a disguised desire for status and such.
And he spoke unto them before the Holy Chopper of Bigly: "The Kingdom of Heaven is found on the best highways, streets and entrances to buildings. For as my wealthy Father above giveth me prestige, so shall I bestow that unto you where the blessed heathen payeth tremendous taxes and render unto Trump what is Trump's. Abandon your homes and take up your Sacred Sharpies." - Book of Orangutans 20:19.

(3,158 posts)Mental issues, costs of rentals, wages, etc,. When one works 2 or 3 jobs and has to pay one half of the household income to rent well there is liable to be homelessness in the family Heartbreaking. Of course there are a few that abuse, but the problem is now widespread and out of control. I have been to cities in a lot of states over the last few years, it's crazy! I think plots of rural land for self managed tent cities could help. Perhaps businesses could assist with bus vouchers and vouchers for showers at the Y. Clothing help, for jobs. There are a couple very successful tent communities in Hawaii that work well, with very happy tenents.
