Are We Feeling Better?

So, we are done with the republican convention and the consensus seems to be that it was highly mediocre and rather bizarre at times. Romney is still behind in the polls and doesn't seem like his bounce is ever going to come, the betters are putting their money on Obama, our guy is at his highest levels ever over at 538, and now 3 major voter suppression laws look like they are going to be thrown into the trash by those evil judges that want to uphold basic constitutional rights (ass holes).

Do we feel good tonight?

I feel the democrats will win this election with ease.

Next week the people will see a vibrant political party full of vision!

but now I feel fantastic. Mitt really out did himself this time. He was over shadowed by a chair.

The chair knew where it stood. It held its position. And probably had a few extra IQ points than Mitt.

If Clint really wasn't a sabotuer..he may think he owes mitt, Big TIME!

speech. Then, the spectacle of Rove voicing his desire to murder Akin, and the Akin's lame ass response, tearing off any mask of decency (not to mention sanity) left in the republican party.

Yup, feeling good. Feeling groovy...the lifting of the voter suppression laws in FL and OH is the best news of all. I was REALLY worried about those two states...

no one will buy it, no matter how many slick ads are floating around

at some point, the reality of how bad a candidate Mitt Romney is finally trumps the money of the wealthy, and thank god for that because there are days when I question if this country is truly losing a grip on reality and that goes for family members too

Plus, one of his hotsy-totsy billionaire donors' strategy huddles was infiltrated and reported on:

And if that isn't enough, there's the new Bain Bailout scandal which is just starting to heat up, all of it directly and personally Mittens' responsibility. To quote Keith Olbermann about it this morning, "Bain Bailout = Ballgame. See ya, Mitt". I'm thinking it'll simmer a while and be just about ripe for bringing up next week:

So yes, I for one am feeling a lot better (not counting the chickens before they're hatched or anything, but still)...

(yesterday?, story in LBN?, not sure) so Team Obama must be confident that story is as good as it seems. I forget where Biden was yesterday, but he was with auto workers, somewhere in Ohio I think. That's the first public mention of it as far as I know.

still cautious and concerned. VOTE! More than just winning this election (and the house back), the GOP must be exterminated! Like black mold, they will return if not exterminated. This party has become foul and nasty beyond belief, and could give a damn about this country. I NEVER thought that in my lifetime, Nixon would look like a decent Republican.
