For three hours, Facebook shut down the automatic messaging chatbot on Netanyahus page after it broadcast messages that included election polling, which is forbidden by the Central Elections Committee polls can only be published until four days before the election. Only after Netanyahu removed previous posts that breached the election law and promised not violate it further did Central Elections Committee head Justice Hanan Melcer direct Facebook to reactivate it.
It was suspended last week after nutty posted
Arabs want to annihilate us.
Also, today, he violated the law
He put out the same call on two right-wing radio stations Kol Hai and Galey Yisrael once again violating election statutes. According to Section 129 of the Israel Election Law, candidates are forbidden from giving radio and television interviews on Election Day. Last week, Melcer issued a clear directive emphasizing the fact that radio and television interviews with candidates on Election Day were forbidden.

(38,687 posts)"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu almost ordered the IDF to go to war in the Gaza Strip, which would have postponed the general elections slated for Tuesday, Haaretz reported on Monday.
The newspaper reported that National Security Adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat had met with Central Elections Committee head Hana Melcer at the urging of Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit about a possible military operation.
According to the report, the action was aborted last Tuesday at the last moment by Mandelblit, who said that the plan required the approval of the security cabinet.
Following the publication of the report on Monday, Blue and White co-leader and former IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz wrote on Twitter that: Netanyahu did away with ambiguity for political ends. Now hes lost it and wants to drag us into war to postpone the elections. This is a scenario that belongs (in the TV show) House of Cards, not in the State of Israel.
