The same way Repukes attack Scandinavian Democratic Socialism, or the Canadian Healthcare system.

Addle the minds of resentful white voters.

Sad fact is, addressing the NATIONWIDE Homeless Crisis will take Federal action, and lots of it. We need apartments, not camps.

It's really weird, all they talk about is how horrible of a place to live California is. And they focus on homelessness. I was in Northern California (SF) this Summer, did not notice any more of a homeless problem that in most major cities.

They can't stand that California is the most liberal state in the union (possible exception is Hawaii) and the most prosperous, so they are campaigning against it non stop. Sure it has problems just like every state, but at the end of the day California is a shining example of how liberalism leads to great things. California has one of the highest per capita incomes, is doing great on the environment and infrastructure and is running a $10 billion surplus. It's what the young and educated want to be.

many of Trump's money folks in California are stuck with White Elephant Buildings that can be converted into Homeless Concentration Camps.

Clark County and the City of Las Vegas purchased a Old Motel and converted it into a full time homeless Vets Shelter. BTW,one of Trump's daily advisors via phone is connected to this project. And the old Motel was taken off the hands of a Connected Real Estate Developer.

Muslims, undocumented immigrants, the poor all the conservatives' lessers to be exploited.

Put the poor in concentration camps like the immigrants, send some revenue to prison industry.

Play god.

If he can successfully lock up the homeless in privately run internment camps, and his party does nothing, he's won! Then he'll know he has the support he needs to lock up anyone who doesn't tow the line...

He's mostly gotten away with caging immigrants and their kids. What- or who- is going to stop him from expanding that to other people/groups?

that the reason the Western states have such a large homeless population is because the rest of the country has freaking winters! Will no one in his base see that? Does it really have to be explained?

It seems that scapegoat du jour is on the menu, though. It's a highlight of the ReFascist party these days.

Some new, vulnerable group of human beings with which to push the line and to make as miserable as possible.

Given we never really travelled as a child, I had biases until I went to college and met people from CA. I was in Los Angeles in 2013 and I thought it was pretty much like any other city. I was in Ft. Myers FL in 2014 and was surprised how once you got out of the snowbird/tourist areas how run down everything looked.

Dear Leader is capable of long-term planning when he thinks it will benefit him. IMHO he’s looking to slather his name on properties where he can sell units to Chinese investors and/or money launderers.

Maybe he could propose legislation to give them homes. Some have jobs but can't afford housing. Living wage and affordable housing not internment camps.
