This blue-collar worker illustrates why a centrist just won't do.

A blue-collar worker, Mike, who called into my show Politics Done Right should touch every single person who listens to him. One can hear the pain and loss of resolve in his voice. To this guy, the centrism & "stability" of the last 30+ years failed him and most.

to me moderate/centrist means going along and getting along which means NOTHING CHANGES. We need to get past the do nothingness and MOVE THE F FORWARD.

I was just in the Primaries Forum having an exchange with a Biden supporter stating the we should stay towards the center and as a Yang supporter I simply cannot agree with such logic. Any Democrat would be far better than what we have now, but I believe we need to move boldly in a progressive direction and do so yesterday.

Brought us right to where we are today. So let's just "stay the course" and hope everything turns out ok. Lordy...

so no problem. Whatever brings that up.

Btw, in case some dishonest article sparked this, Biden's 50-year legislative record proves beyond doubt that he is a solid liberal. Working across the aisle to reach agreements, the way democracy requires and must work, is a sign of competent and principled legislators, not of centrist positioning.

Prove to me that Warren or Sanders can win in the suburban districts of the Battleground States where we can get enough Electoral Votes to win the Election.

Short take, back in St. Ronnie's days the gopukes came up with the genius trickle down methodology, i.e. grow the deficit, lower taxes, fill your pockets and make the Dems eat their young when they regain control. The strategy has worked for them for decades.

You'd think somewhere along the way the Dems would catch on and refuse to play into their scenario, wouldn't you? Hasn't happened yet. It's worked so well that even we Dems repeat their talking points like "how are we going to pay for it?" and "we can't afford that," "we'd better be more moderate," "a progressive can't win".... on and on.

To be honest it disgusts me that we are such chumps.
