A pledge/promise to him would be very dangerous.

If it's MBS, would it be about Khashoggi?

Or about selling weapons or Yemen or??
It's sort of horrible to imagine what it could be.

(Then there's always Bibi...)

I can think of three high profile people who would have that kind of chummy status with trump. Three that would elicit a promise from him to do it. Putin, the Saudi prince and Netanyahu. He tends to kiss their asses a lot.

Only because I would think that all the pledges and promises to and with Putin are already forged and sealed with a big, wet sloppy tongue kiss between them.

I get the sense this is a new affair for the Con. Is he cheating again?

...normally. For those who appreciate our democracy, it is frightening, what Demented Donnie thinks, says and does.

When asked about the content of his secret one-on-one conversations with Putin, Cheatolini said:

“It’s none of your business.”

It looks like one whistleblower in government disagrees with the smiling puppet.

With the election coming up wanted a promise to back whatever move he made to lock in his reign.

The hands-off tweet after it looked like a toss-up in the voting is the usual DJT move when he's overcommitted himself and the stink of failure has started to cling.

Not having a record of their contact makes blowing the whistle more likely, why would you report something already in the public sphere?

Kim has two desires: to destabilize South Korea and to develop his nuke program without US interference.

Putin also has two desires: no US interference while he rebuilds the Soviet Union, and the identities of all foreign intelligence agents working inside Russia.

The reason I lean Kim is Trump is already completely under Putin's control. Trump will give Putin anything he wants; Kim doesn't have that much sway over him yet.
