The point of the inherent contempt authority and having the Sergeant-at-Arms arrest someone is to GO GET THEM AND BRING THEM APPEAR. Lewandowski, as far as I could see, already in the room, so that whole "Go arrest that man!" thing would have been entertaining to watch, but ultimately pretty ridiculous.

This is one of the reasons I have difficulty taking these people seriously. I knew that many of the people who were demanding impeachment hearings would immediaty change their tunes the minute the hearing sstarted and pivot to attacking the Democrats for not doing the hearings "right."
