Bill Barr's Great Betrayal

His first mistake was in his ideology. He believed that the President of the United States could not break the law. He executed the laws.

He didn't really care whether the President was guilty of any of the charges in the Mueller Report. It didn't matter to him. He did not believe that the President could be charged with any crimes.

He took it upon himself to protect the President over the people. He became the President's lawyer. He totally abdicated all responsibilities as the Attorney General of the United States.

He may not have understood the depth of the cesspool he was wading into, but it does not excuse his words or his actions.

He has betrayed his country and the laws he was sworn to protect and defend.

Like Aqualung, he goes down to bog to warm his feet...
