Something about the Madman's most recent call with Putin that mostly flew under the radar:

Putin was dictating American personnel changes to Trump.

He wanted Jon Huntsman out as US Ambassador to Moscow, and within a week, Huntsman had left the post.

(CNN) — President Donald Trump phoned his Russian counterpart this week after seeing a map of widespread wildfires in Siberia, according to senior administration officials.

But their conversation also drifted to a discussion of the need for a new US ambassador in Russia, two officials said, since the current envoy Jon Huntsman is expected to depart his post soon.

****

While Putin and Trump discussed the fact that there will have to be a new ambassador in the coming months with Huntsman's expected departure, the men did not discuss any names of potential replacements.

If that's what we do know came out of the call, just imagine what we don't know.
