How will Trump, et al out-fox the Democrats and keep the whistleblower info secret?

If this situation is like most other situations in which they have beaten our side (like with the Mueller report roll-out, or the Garland screwing, or......on and on and on....), Trump and the rest of the GOP are formulating a vile, illegal, fascist strategy to keep the most damning facts secret.

They won't be nice about it. They won't be trying to handle this according to laws, rules, or normalities. They won't be furrowing their brows and expressing their frustrations in a reasonable manner. They won't slow walk their efforts.

No....they will do anything and everything possible to keep this secret. If past is prologue, and I fervently hope that is not the case, they will use every illegal and unethical effort that they can formulate. Some of those efforts will be centered around never before heard utter nonsense they will conjure up that is so nonsensical that some on our side will laugh their rear ends off.

If past is again prologue, and I again fervently hope that is not the case, our side will come out and talk about the ethics, express sorrow and frustration at the illegal acts, then calmly and studiously let us know that they will go through the normal channels to stop the abuse of power.

The Democrats will then hold hearings, and none of the Trump people will answer any questions by virtue of making up new non-existent executive privilege claims. Our side will be "outraged", and will talk about filing suit. After a pointless delay of several weeks (maybe months!) as our side formulates its oh so conventional strategies, our side will then file suit.

When and if it is finally decided in our favor, the election will be over, Trump possibly reelected, and if so, he will illegally cover it up. He and his storm trooper goons will possibly even destroy the evidence and illegally indict and jail the whistleblower. They might even do this if Trump is NOT reelected (i think they would). The Democrats will furiously bitch and moan, and threaten ever more aggressive efforts. Trump and the GOP will in effect say "Screw you....do something about it", knowing that by then, it will be too late.

if the Democrats appear to make a bit of headway, Trump and crew will unleash even more illegal, utterly outrageous efforts to block the truth. The Democrats will bitch and moan again about the illegalities, express more outrage, and then go home with their tails between their legs.

Okay....I am sure I will get blasted for this post, so go ahead and do so! However, history has shown over and over again that what I put in this post is very close to how this would proceed, unless our side gets some guts and fights like rabid dogs, and NOT nicely and conventionally. We are dealing with lying, vile, fascist thugs. Conventional and normal will not work. In this case, conventional and normal efforts will lead directly to full blown GOP fascism.

So go ahead and blast away! Go ahead and tell me that we must do it the "right" way....follow the usual channels and the constitution.....act like the Democrats have acted during this entire Mueller report roll-out sham, and end up with our Democracy smashed to bits. But hey....we will have done it the "right" way....the "right" way leading directly to fascism.

And no, I am not sure what we should do, but I DO know that doing things the same way we have usually done them will lead to the same outcome: defeat.
