"SNIP.....
Senate Republicans are warning Speaker Nancy Pelosi that her much-anticipated drug pricing plan is dead and will not be considered in the Senate, Politico reports.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell ruled out any action on the bill: Socialist price controls will do a lot of left-wing damage to the healthcare system. And of course were not going to be calling up a bill like that.

(3,433 posts)I know the Democrats have to keep creating legislation so that they can prove the Republicans are doing nothing but honestly I'm not sure the American public is smart enough to pay attention and recognize the distinction between houses.

(118,492 posts)world those socialists don't exist except for Kim Jong Un Trump's friend. Democrats today are talking about liberal policies when markets fail. But what does exist is Russian corruption of the Republucan Party. Nice projection Moscow Mitch.

(82,849 posts)When it comes up in conversation between now and the election (and it will), be prepared to ask, "What do you consider socialism?" Be ready for the blank look, the stammer, and the circular statement, "Y-you know, socialism!"

Every single move they make COSTS us EXPONENTIALLY MORE than honest government programs; and their airheaded talking points, whether "it's socialism," or "no new taxes" or "we need to cut taxes" are the SCAM of ALL TIME. And I mean ALL TIME.

Fuck Mitch McConnell! I hope he lives long enough to see how poorly history is going to treat him.
Moscow Mitch.
That needs to go on your tombstone, you un-American shitweasel.

(3,131 posts)Or better, Republicans want Americans to continue being cheated by pharmaceutical companies
We just want Americans to get a square deal. Not socialism but a square deal.
Framing this issue should be simple. Getting air time from the corporate media is tougher but we should fight hard on this one.
I dont know the polling but I dont think pharmaceutical companies are particularly popular.

Pelosi's plan can make a HUGE difference.
