According to Ukraine’s readout of Trump’s last call with the president, Trump was “convinced the new Ukrainian government will be able to quickly improve image of Ukraine, complete investigation of corruption cases, which inhibited the interaction between Ukraine & the US.”
The White House version made no mention of this, only saying Trump and Zelensky “discussed ways to strengthen the relationship between the United States and Ukraine.”
