But it is still true.

Nazis had around 1/3 of the vote when they took control of Germany. Nazis gonna nazi. And millions of people chose to "not see".

I have a name for white people who try to create the absence of tension around them, in order to concentrate on the things that are important in their personal lives. I call them Gemini's. They seek harmony and calm, so they avoid conflict. They are not necessarily racists, but for them, not talking about racial issues is equivalent to being racially sensitive.
