(82,849 posts)He said that while he doesn't know what Trump said (*wink!*), he's 100% sure that it was in the best interests of the country. Curiously, I didn't see what, if anything, Jordan had to say about the AG overstepping his authority and preventing the DNI from carrying out his lawful duty to report the complaint to the congressional intelligence committees. I'm sure Jordan would have a very creative reason (a lie) for why the administration is doing its level best to keep this complaint away from Congress since it's so exculpatory. Probably that famous Trump modesty; he doesn't want people swooning over his statesmanship and showering him with accolades.
