Which ones should be doing it?

When Schumer went to Trump to tell he he should nominate Merrit Garland, there were those here who roundly mocked him for that "useless errand." "What did he think Trump was going to say, DUH? Why waste the time?"

We might as well tell the entire GOP Senate that they should resign. It would be met with the same derisive laughter from the GOP and Trump. It would be cringeworthy.

We mocked the GOP for holding dozens of votes to "repeal and replace" when there was no chance that it would pass and be signed into law by Obama. Rightly so.

We know for a fact that Trump will stay in office as long as possible, because as long as he's in office, he has Barr's legal protection. He's trying to run out the clock on the statute of limitations on crimes he committed prior to getting in to office.

I think that our leaders would be called fools for continuing to demand something that everyone knows - especially after the Mueller hearings, the he would ever even consider.

Especially those who seem to want to slam them any time they say something, with "WORDS. NOT ENOUGH! I WANT TO SEE ACTION!!!!!!"

Personally, I prefer that they don't act like they're clueless as to Trump's state of mind on this, when everyone knows it. No amount of wishful thinking or manifesting is going to change that.

3. The point is a political one. The point is that there is no stronger word than "RESIGN."

With that demand, we uphold the standards of our democracy and maintain the expectation that our President will follow them, all on its own.

When the Republicans impeached Clinton... the American people were not on board until the Republicans moved the needle by pounding on the resign language every day. Every interview...every question. Within weeks every newspaper of record was calling for Clinton's resignation. Clinton did not resign.... but it moved the needle on the impeachment question.

It's called controlling the narrative and the Rethugs are masters of the art... Dems... not so much.
RESIGN!
