Madame Speaker, please consider:

---a woman's right to vote DID NOT HAVE MAJORITY SUPPORT when first proposed;

---a woman's right to an abortion DID NOT HAVE MAJORITY SUPPORT when first proposed;

---the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act DID NOT HAVE MAJORITY SUPPORT when first proposed;

---the right of same sex couples to marry DID NOT HAVE MAJORITY SUPPORT when first proposed.

In each of those cases, LEADERS marshalled support, educated the ignorant and inspired the nation to correct its course.

As to the Senate and what they may or may not do: "Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will."---Frederick Douglas.

Nancy is a master tactician and she has more knowledge than we do about this. I will wait. I think the downfall is just beginning.

That the Whistleblower Scandal is about more than the Ukraine has been intimated. Oooooh, I can't wait for more info to leak!

am past the point where " she's a master tactician" means much. Even master tacticians sometimes drop the ball and I think she has definitely fumbled.

Crime against Biden and other lawless acts may not have occurred. TRUMP believes he is above the law because congress is letting him BE lawless.

from me. Like Warren said, impeach. Now!

We're in a dangerous place because trump knows he can do ANYTHING and democrats won't do anything except tweet and complain. He's already told us his intentions with regard to the election, and now he will commit all his crimes in plain sight with no consequences.

He's basically grabbing our country by the pussy. At the very least, that deserves a slap, does it not?!

You mean like when she immediately took impeachment off the table for the lying war criminal Bush?.

Cause I still don't know what she knew that "we don't" in that case.

Why won't she hold republicons accountable?

Impeaching President Nixon DID NOT HAVE MAJORITY SUPPORT when first proposed either.

And I know he wasn't impeached, he resigned, but he resigned because he knew he was going to be impeached and removed from office and might even have gone to jail if he didn't.

Sometimes I really wonder.

Let's get going and ignore these divisive implants who are undercutting the natural, progressive course of this great party.

It is time to impeach friends. And, yes, build it and they will come.

I'm getting sick of the "Democrats are no better than Republicans" bullcrap. The natural course of the Democratic Party is inclusion. This means that there will be more moderate members. You can clamor to maintain your precious progressive purity, and forever stay in the minority.

Enough of this bullshit. I am sick to death of our so-called leaders acting like all leadership must come from the bottom up.

TOP-DOWN LEADERSHIP MATTERS. It is not always the people's job to "make you do it" (to quote Obama, who I love dearly but who often hid behind the same bullshit excuse). We did our job by giving you a majority. Now it's your turn to act. Time's up.
