Election 2019: Matthew Smith.for Greenwood Common (IN) City Council
Matthew Smith is a father, husband, and proud resident of Greenwood, Indiana. He is currently a member on the Board of Zoning Appeals and Advisory Planning Commission, and has worked as an activist for such causes as equal access to public accommodations and property rights. He is seeking a seat on the Greenwood Common Council to be a part of advancing Greenwood into a fiscally sound future and to help make us a leader in honest and fair governance.
Matthew Smith graduated from Western Governors University with his MBA in Management and Strategy where he received an award for achieving the 95th percentile in the capstone business simulation. He wrote his capstone project on reducing OSHA recordable injuries through principles of behavioral safety. He is a Certified Safety Professional and works in Environmental Health and Safety for a large beverage company.
