There would be one bit of sweet justice, if after everything Trump has done to try to hurt Obama...

If Biden, essentially Obama's deputy, were to win our nomination and then take Trump down in a massive landslide repudiation of all things Trumpian, and we captured the Senate in the process.

That would be a neat bit of justice.

I'll add that any of our candidates (of which I like all) could also sort of accomplish this, but it's probably more personal for Biden. He worked with Obama while Trump was trashing his citizenship and religion.

Anyone who doesn’t understand how important Biden’s family is to him simply hasn’t been paying attention. Trump should have never crossed that line. I think he will live to regret it.

The one they described on MSNBC. For someone as scrupulous as Joe normally was, this was a mistake. Hunter should have told Joe he was thinking about taking the $50K a month gig from the Ukrainian gas co,, and Biden could have asked him not to. Even though there's no evidence at all that Joe ever did anything improper, this is why we have conflict of interest rules. Even the appearance of potential conflict of interest is better to be avoided.

Now the Trump team can use this to muddy the waters.

we’re going to get the whole story. I suspect Moscow Mitch’s sudden “interest” in our voting systems is that he knows all the facts are about to explode. I don’t necessarily think it’ll be right this minute. But the facts will be like dominoes coming down in slow motion. Moscow Mitch is suddenly interested. Yeah, sure.
