However, I found it interesting that she asked those Dems in the House not in favor, to please call in. I would like to hear from them. I do have to agree with Nancy P. that the Dem Reps in "fringe" Dem districts need to be protected. Gawd forbid if we would lose the House.

before the elections. I want him impeached but I want him impeached on facts not speculation. I understand her frustration re new laws because the ReTHUG senate will simply not support the impeachment.

That no longer matters - they have to be stopped - shamed, whatever.

Do hearings and get the facts out. Obviously the committees have a problem of witnesses either refusing to testify or showing up and being colossal douchebags like Lewandowski (though Berke filleted him nicely at the end), but eventually those witnesses will be ordered to appear. What Trump and Barr are obviously doing is trying to stonewall investigations for as long as possible - until after the election, they hope - by forcing the committees to go to court for everything. My hope is that hearings will occur at a point when people are paying attention, and that the evidence will affect public opinion enough that the impeachment process will go forward. If the House votes to impeach and the Senate acquits, that acquittal will be the GOP's albatross for the election - it can be described as the equivalent of an all-white jury in Mississippi in 1950 acquitting a white man for lynching a black man.

I had a pink portable radio that took a million batteries. No headphones back then. Had it glued to my ear when I could not be glued to the TV set.

Yes, Watergate is the model...totally. Jill Wine-Banks knows the drill and the more I hear from her, the more I see expertise AND common sense.

As long as our candidates continue to show the advantage they presently have in national polling against Trump I expect Pelosi to play the long game and stay the course on impeachment, and not do anything seismic that might change that advantage.

A significant shift in national polling could speed things up.

should do the questioning first, which would leave the witness in a more pliant and intimidated state for the inept and/or grandstanding questions by the committee members.

Forget all the rest of it, he sure seems guilty, ridiculously so on the Emollients issue, then just look and listen to this guy.

It amazes me.......and if you listen to republicans I doubt Twitler indeed shooting someone on 5th Avenue would matter to them.

We better take back the Senate and beat Orange “man” or we are in for a long dark night. Stay well till 1/21 Notorious RBG!

Neither the full House of Representatives nor Pelosi can impeach, without a 2/3 majority in a GOP controlled Senate, which has already publicly stated that they will not impeach Teflon Don.

Pelosi's experience and strategy is obvious:

Keep those subpoenas and investigations going, right up to election day and let US citizens see these criminals for what they are.
