The theme of this contest is Scenes of Summer
The top two vote getters in each thread will advance to the finals along with the next four highest vote getters overall.
Preliminary Round will run until September 5, 9PM, PDT.
Finals will be posted September 6 and will run until Sept. 9, 6PM PDT.

Excellent photos! 
all are wonderful.....but, "on the beach" gets my vote today. Love the Summer Lovin' one, he looks so serious and kinda pissed off at the person taking the picture because he's been distracted from his business....
