I find it hard to believe all this whistleblower has is his word. He must have something else.

I think she's trying to give them time and space to get to yes. And she would rather have a successful impeachment later than a failed impeachment now

Impeachment isn't going to stop or change him in any way, so we're not looking at a time of the essence situation. For all intents and purposes the Impeachment Inquiry IS ongoing, but people who are against impeachment can always look to Pelosi to say she's not ready for impeachment. I hate to use that cliche, but it's like having your cake and eating it too. And when the time is right, when there is an offense by the president that everyone can understand (like perhaps Whistleblowergate) there will be unified mobilization. She is keeping her options open and studying the situation, like a cat watching a mouse but not yet ready to attack.
