Instead of meaning, value and relevance, as well as prioritization of issues and a focus on facts, you get rather vapid, white noise that bleeds into the gestalt like morphine injected by blathering talking heads that spew opinions like a hen drops eggs. You get an omelette that is mixed with toxic detritus and manipulative propaganda with an underlying, ulterior motive that even the participants in it may not even comprehend.

It functions by way of dilution, diffusion, division and distraction to various degrees in and in numerous combinations. It is also a science in the sense that it has been used effectively to manufacture consent by the masses for at least 100-years now. We are collectively so used to it that it is barely noticed. And people talk about "normalization"? Well, I got news for ya'!

We are immersed in Baudrillard's Simulation and entranced by the Spectacle of it all. You can see that in the visceral reactions and frustrations that are experienced by people unaware of it and who have become immersed in a perpetual, cognitive dissonance because of it. The willingness to wake up from that can come by knowing about it and investigating the truth concerning it. It is not like a conspiracy theory at all, rather, it is as if you were walking around wearing smeared glasses and finally cleaned the lens and...clarity.
