I was wonder if it was just newspapers like the Washington Times and WSJ that made that call. Seems like it was mostly MAGAt states newspapers. I'm sure not going to count on them being fair and balanced, so to speak.

it was mainly right wing leaning types who thought he should resign .

also that link was to various opinions about the hwole thing. not all of them called for him to resign.

i was wondering about specific papers that asked for him to resign .

And the panel agreed with that conclusion. I don't necessarily recall that, so I can't say I agree or disagree. I do know that my local daily bends over backwards not to offend its MAGAt subscribers with its editorials, always making sure to present "both sides" in opinion pieces, cartoons, etc. They stand for nothing now. I wonder if others are seeing the same with their papers? So, no call for impeachment at this point is not surprising.

Proof that the majority of the media is conservative corporate owned.

I won't subscribe until they go back to being a-political.

9. Thank God he didn't resign. If he had, I doubt we would have any semblance of democracy left.

Ken Starr was put on the job to take Clinton down. He was always going to send an impeachment referral to Congress. If not for Lewinsky, he would have found a different reason.

People forget the way he terrorized people during the Whitewater investigation in order to get them to perjure themselves. It was the greatest attack on democracy and the rule of law that our country has ever seen, in many ways worse than McCarthy.

If Starr's operation had been allowed end a Democrat's presidency--as it was designed to do--our country would have been irreparably damaged.
