Troops are deploying to defend the Butcher of Saudi Arabia

trump is rewarding MBS and the Saudis for the dismemberment of Adnan Khashoggi.

Pelosi: US arms sales, troop deployments to Saudi Arabia and UAE 'outrageous'

(CNN)House Speaker Nancy Pelosi slammed the Trump Administration's plans to accelerate arms sales and send additional forces to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as bypassing Congress' intent.

Pelosi called the response "the latest outrageous attempt by the Trump Administration to circumvent the bipartisan, bicameral will of Congress," adding in a statement Saturday: "These unacceptable actions are cause for alarm."

The speaker's ire follows an announcement from the Pentagon Friday that it would send additional troops and enhanced air and missile defense systems to the two countries in response to the September 14 attack on Saudi oil facilities, which the US has blamed on Tehran.

"Americans are weary of war, and have no interest in entering another Middle East conflict, particularly on behalf of Saudi Arabia," Pelosi argued. "They will not stand by while the President undermines our security and jeopardizes the lives of our brave service members."

Well, that's unfortunate. But as long as he hasn't knocked over a liquor store, there's really nothing anyone can do.

Isn't it odd how Trump forges ahead to do something, despite some pretty stiff obstacles, when he really wants to do it? But when he says he'd like to release his tax returns or his financial statements or the transcript of his phone call with the Ukrainian president, gosh darn it, there's an unnamed lawyer or accountant that just won't let him do that!

The US shipped weapons and secrets to the Saudis and Emiratis. Now, some are in the hands of fighters linked to al Qaeda and Iran.

Hodeidah, Yemen (CNN) – Saudi Arabia and its coalition partners have transferred American-made weapons to al Qaeda-linked fighters, hardline Salafi militias, and other factions waging war in Yemen, in violation of their agreements with the United States, a CNN investigation has found.

The weapons have also made their way into the hands of Iranian-backed rebels battling the coalition for control of the country, exposing some of America's sensitive military technology to Tehran and potentially endangering the lives of US troops in other conflict zones.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, its main partner in the war, have used the US-manufactured weapons as a form of currency to buy the loyalties of militias or tribes, bolster chosen armed actors, and influence the complex political landscape, according to local commanders on the ground and analysts who spoke to CNN.

By handing off this military equipment to third parties, the Saudi-led coalition is breaking the terms of its arms sales with the US, according to the Department of Defense. After CNN presented its findings, a US defense official confirmed there was an ongoing investigation into the issue.

Speaker Pelosi does this warrant impeachment???? Using our troops as leverage pieces.

Oh, Ms. Pelosi in response to your last question

"Americans are weary of war, and have no interest in entering another Middle East conflict, particularly on behalf of Saudi Arabia," Pelosi argued. "They will not stand by while the President undermines our security and jeopardizes the lives of our brave service members."

Americans period are weary of this so called treasonous bastard, start impeachment hearings now. If anyone declines answering questions hold them in contempt and throw them in jail.
