A man has been charged with making a terroristic threat after University of Texas police said he threatened to “shoot all the rich kids at UT,” according to court documents.

Dakota Blakely, 25, was in the emergency room at Dell Seton Medical Center on Sunday when he became aggressive with staff members and ended up biting a security guard’s thumb when he was handcuffed, an arrest affidavit filed against Blakely said.

Blakely ran from UT police, who had arrived to assist in the arrest, but was caught and taken to Travis County Central Booking. During his medical screening, Blakely told the nurse he intended to go to the UT campus and shoot everyone he saw, the affidavit said. Travis County Jail officials later told UT police that similar threats from Blakely “continued for several hours, and the jail staff were concerned for the safety of the university community.”

Police said further investigation also turned up several photos of Blakely on his Facebook page, “where he displays white supremacist imagery and points guns at the camera,” the affidavit said.

AUSTIN, TX (KEYE/CNN) — A homeless Texas man is under arrest after police say he threatened to shoot all the rich kids at the University of Texas.

Dakota Blakely was arrested at Dell Seton near UT on Tuesday for an assault. While he was being processed, he threatened to shoot UT students.

According to court documents, he repeatedly told a nurse he would come to campus and “shoot all the rich kids at UT.” He also threatening the responding officer ...
