It looks to me like we have a dictator who will fix the election and never be held accountable for anything. Congress seems powerless to do anything when the executive’s answer to everything is “fuck you”. Rules and procedures without any authority to enforce them are meaningless.

Who is going to do anything about all this? When even the DNI refuses to act on these things, who can make him? Courts rule, they ignore it.

I just know anymore. This asshole has managed to break the country and her institutions.

Some of these people are lifetime employees who have seen the worst of the worst. And are ready for it. That is their job..

You tell me, did Trump fire and embarrass the former head of the FBI? Does he try to harm his opponents? and destroy them? Have some "opponents" (former friends) bit the bullet and told the truth, and they are now in jail? Can Trump really destroy the CIA, FBI, and Congressional Committees? Well, I don't think so.

Who are the leaders of those organizations now? Are they lifelong patriots or his cronies? And don’t think many of the people in those alphabet outfits wouldn’t be happy to become a modern version of the SS. Loads of them are authoritarian types or else they wouldn’t be there in the first place. Cops of any sort are almost always authoritarians. And, again, congressional committees depend on traditional rules and the Constitution but they apparently have no means to enforce anything. How many subpoenas have been ignored? How many court orders? They’re packing the courts with people who will rule in his favor regardless of the law. Do you really trust the Supreme Court to uphold justice right now?

I’d love to have your confidence in these people but I don’t. I don’t trust any of them to do the right thing. The ones who have tried have been removed, resigned or marginalized.

As long as this motherfucker is allowed to operate with impunity, and I don’t see anyone stopping him, we’re in serious trouble.
