Ive no doubt the GOP is re-assessing their brilliant idea of nominating, electing, enabling, and covering-up for the Idiot they were sure would secure their most fervent dreams tax-cuts for the wealthy, malleable judges, and the overturn of everything we have achieved so far.
Well, let me enlighten the Republicans on where they went wrong with The Dotard - and the next time you attempt to elect a totally inept pResident, you might want to consider the following.
Dont elect a man too narcissistic to consider anyones interests above his own, including yours.
Dont support a man who lies over 12,000 times to the American people because his word on anything will be dismissed as fake news.
Dont support a man whose political and personal scandals have to be defended 24/7 especially when those actions are indefensible.
Dont support a self-absorbed idiot who while you are busy defending him will openly admit that what he has actually been accused of is provably true.
Dont support a man whose abject stupidity, illiteracy, and self-serving interests are unmistakably on display every day, and whose lies are easily debunked with a quick visit to Google.
Dont support a man who doesnt give a shit about anyone or anything including the country and your own party.
Dont support a man whose nude model wife is a liability, whose children are as incompetent as his Cabinet appointees, and whose 'very best people' wind up in prison.
Dont support a man whose ego is far more important to him than your partys so-called principles, and who will destroy those principles if it means lining his own pockets.
Dont support a man who is an obvious traitor to his county, anxious to publicly side with our nations enemies over our own intelligence community. That alone will bite you in the ass like nothing else can.
Dont support a man whose I am above the law attitude enabled by yourselves will inevitably end in the demise of your own party.
I would have thought the aforementioned would have taught you a valuable lesson early on but apparently, three years into this debacle of an administration, you havent learned a thing.
The next time you attempt to elect a corrupt pResident, try to tap someone who is actually able to keep from bragging about his own corruption as though it were an asset, someone who can keep his mouth shut, someone who isnt so emboldened by your corroboration in his crimes to think he can get away with shooting someone on Fifth Avenue while you pretend he had every right to do so.
Ive always maintained that the Republican party is as stupid as it is corrupt, and your election of Trump is the proof thereof. You werent even savvy enough to realize that he would inevitably prove to be your ultimate undoing despite the fact that it was so god-damned obvious all along.
So next time, no amateurs. Get someone who at least has the brains to understand that undermining his own partys desperate efforts to defend/protect him are the only thing standing between his so-called presidency and self-immolation.

(5,106 posts)I wonder if his shirt was do it yourself. If someone else made it up, that means the MAGA idiots are multiplying more quickly than supposed.

(6,836 posts)but the shirt is real, and being sold (I have no idea who would buy it, but if you read all the way down, you can see a couple more fakes, including one with "The Rock" and get the web address to buy them.

(17,183 posts)... what part of the GOP agenda has failed because of Mr Trump's ineptitude? Frightening thought, that, as it would mean that the GOP wanted to do more harm than they have already done. How many years do you reckon we'll be spending digging the country out of the hole they've left us in?

(27,813 posts)... Republicans there are, they could have elected someone who could push an agenda, but keep his mouth shut about his own crimes.
There have been so many times Trump has reminded me of the bar scene in Goodfellas, where the heist crew - having been warned not to flaunt the money they'd gotten out of the deal - show up in new cars, with their wives wrapped in new mink coats.
Trump is an amateur - too stupid NOT to keep flaunting his own corruption at every opportunity.
