For instance, a lot of leadership hasn't officially come out in favor of impeachment, but once enough of their members call for, they will go along with it as well. I think we are pretty close to that point as is. I'm guessing around 180-190 publicly calling for impeachment will be enough for those silent on the issue to join in and meet the 218 threshold for it to pass.

so jaded that THEY can't agree that behavior like this has no business in the White House?

The only help we will be getting from Republicans is probably Amash -- who I'm not sure even considers himself a Republican anymore. The vast majority of the Democratic caucus will be the ones voting for impeachment.

I also reminded him that when he took the oath of office, he swore to defend and support the Constitution of the United States, not the Republican party or the President. He'll probably blow it off, but at least he knows my opinion.

an inquiry will produce hearings, followed by articles of impeachment?

It may not even get to the Senate, but it will lay it all out in stark black and white for everyone to see.

With no cooperating witnesses, the Federal Courts gummed up with countersuits that allow the Administration to drag its feet on legal oversight, I can easily imagine President Asshole running out the clock till 11/4/2020.

Has Congress seen the unredacted Mueller Report? Do they have President Asshole's taxes? The Whistleblower complaint? Have the courts delivered one order that uphold's Congress' powers?

If it doesn't get to the Senate, it will be a massive disaster - failure to Impeach will confirm Asshole's gaslighting. Pelosi knows that Impeachment needs to be assured before an inquiry is even opened.

Once it's in McConnell's plated, leathery turtle lap, that's when the corruption is laid bare.

we should let it all go and hope that the election is free and fair?

Doing nothing, in my opinion, is worse . It shows that Democrats won't act to curb anything.

I want him impeached, convicted, and exiled to Elba. I'll settle for the 1st part.

A lot of Dems held back because Speaker Pelosi wanted them to. Shit's getting real now.
