Is McConnell finally getting nervous or is there something up his sleeve?

The key word here is unanimous. Republicans and Democrats in the Senate–all of them–are calling for the Whistleblower complaint to be sent to the intelligence committees.

Adopted by Unanimous Consent: S.Res.325 - Transmission of Whistleblower Complaint:
Expressing the sense of the Senate that the whistleblower complaint received on 8/12/19, by the IG of the Intelligence Community should be transmitted immediately to Intelligence Committee

It's over. Not because WE ended it, but because the rats are jumping ship before the boat sinks. They're "leaving"/ returning to regular order on their own accord.

Something seems out of character in the Senate.

Amy McGrath is paying close attention to what is taking place. I hear her campaign is hitting McConnell hard on ALL Of his obstruction going back to the early Obama days of his first term and McConnell's saying that his objective was " to deny President Obama a 2nd term" when in front of the Heritage Society.

f**ked himself. It would not surprise me if there is some scheme by the GOP and Trump in works though.

If this is the end for Trump, they need to impeach Barr and the acting DNI as well. Rudy needs to go down as well.

Well at least that would be a good start.

either one he is trying to get ahead of this. My guess either republicans will admit Trump did something bad, but will spin it as not being worthy of impeachment or they have made the calculation that it is in their best interest to go ahead and throw Trump under the bus. I would bet they probably defend Trump.
