I'm having Watergate flashbacks.

I remember watching the '73 hearings and following the aftermath of the Saturday Night Massacre - which was the tipping point, maybe like what's happened this week. I had a sense even then that it was a BFD, and this is even bigger.

Never thought I’d see anyone as bad as Nixon.

Then along came Reagan, the Bushes and now Trump.

8. The GOP of the 70s was just as bad. We've forgotten that they did

the same denying and stonewalling and blind support of Nixon that they are doing now. The real difference is that they were in the minority.

I attended a lecture by Woodward and Bernstein at about the end of Watergate. I don't believe Nixon had resigned yet. Nixon started going nuts in May or June..He resigned a month or two later. August 9, 1974.
I got a chance to ask a question. I asked, "Do you think Nixon is going nuts?" They said that they were not psychiatrists, but he was not together..One of the things that was said, is that Nixon was talking to the walls toward the end.
..They published a 2nd book about Nixon which basically said that toward the end, he had lost it...

Trump..is going to resign soon in my opinion.. He is at that point too...additional note: I know nothing and I am not a shrink of any kind!! just comparing the 2 events..that is all..............

11. I can say this: Anything Can Happen. Why? because of the following:

I never thought Trump would be nominated to be President
I never thought Trump would beat Hillary Clinton or any Democratic candidate.
I have always thought that Donald Trump is a crook.
I thought that women would not vote for him
I thought that the election would not be close - Clinton would win by a large margin.
I thought that he would be out by now.

So anything can happen, and I have been wrong on all counts. so Anything Can Happen, and already has...

to show you how wrong I have been, I never thought that an Afro-American would be elected President...
...............so there. wrong again..but things turned out well on that one...........
...............................time again to hide
