* Donald Trump has flipped political presumptions and sent House Democrats on a path toward the third presidential impeachment in American history, writes CNBCs John Harwood.
* This time, Trump cant even count on the lockstep Republican support that has protected him throughout his three years in the Oval Office.
* Democrats now see the possibility that forcing a Senate impeachment trial may help them recapture that chamber by squeezing vulnerable incumbents like Republican Susan Collins of Maine.
And as a result, House Judiciary Committee member Jamie Raskin, D-Md., told a reporter, Hes going to have his constitutional reckoning.

Once skeptical that impeachment made political sense, Garin says Democrats now have a much clearer narrative about Trumps abuse of power. Instead of fearing loss of their House majority, Democrats now see the possibility that forcing a Senate impeachment trial may help them recapture that chamber by squeezing vulnerable incumbents like Susan Collins of Maine, Martha McSally of Arizona, Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Cory Gardner of Colorado.
Senate Republicans will find it uncomfortable to condone or excuse his behavior, Garin said.
Already, Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, declared it troubling in the extreme if Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate Biden. One top GOP strategist said a documented link between that pressure and the aid delay could spur further Senate Republican defections. - CNBC

Let the republicans squirm now, defections or not! Nancy has them by the balls!
Any republican who doesn't side with Nancy Pelosi, in my opinion, is a traitor!

comments or a major anti Impeachment push by Thursday. The Chamber of Commerce as well as the Business Roundtable as of last week were all in with Trump. Let's see how they react, should be damn interesting for that lie parade.

Now he has no one to turn to. He is the highest authority. A position he never earned or understood. His life will end the way it started; a poor bully with no friends

While it took longer than I would've liked, it's fine... the Traitor-in-Chief is now toast in 2020 and, hopefully, will soon be fitted for an orange jumpsuit. Can't wait for the impeachment hearings to start... get the popcorn ready!!
