...letting you scroll through the panels instead of seeing the whole toon at once but making the text microscopic.

If you copy the image location, you only get the panels, not the whole thing (unless it's a one-panel toon to begin with). Either that or you take a screen shot and post the image somewhere linkable.

For posting on DU, Daily Kos' cartoon page is a better place to pick up TMW.
