We are about to meet him or her.
He or she will be a highly effective professional intelligence manager. He or she will have worked in important positions for both Republicans and Democrats.
He or she will have sharp analytical skills and be very articulate. Be disciplined, focused and have a deep historical perspective.
He or she has a high regard for the constitution and the rule of law.
I suspect we will find a person of wit and personality.
Of all of the qualities that you can consider likely for someone that has reached a high level in the intelligence community that are filled with intelligent and dedicated professionals there are all of the qualities listed above and one more;
Courage
He or she will allow us the privilege to be proud to be an American again, something that has been scarce over these last 3 years.
He or she will join John Dean and Mark Felt as a modern patriot that helped keep the Republic a Republic.

(3,678 posts)I see him on TV sometimes. I want to like him but I'm not sure he was so innocent in Watergate.

(940 posts)silently hoped and prayed someone would fall on a sword for this Country. I heard last night that if a vote was held today in the 'Senate' on impeachment, 30 republicans would vote to impeach "if it were a secret vote". maybe all votes in the congress should be by secret ballot, just like the ballot box. Since All are saying how divided this Country is.
