Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin (R) knocked teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg on Tuesday, calling her remarkably ill-informed.
The Swedish teenager has gained international media attention in recent months for her outspoken activism on climate change, prompting Bevin and other lawmakers, including President Trump, to criticize her and her growing platform.
Shes articulate, shes an intelligent woman, young woman, shes very emotional, shes very passionate and shes remarkably ill-informed, Bevin told a reporter for InsideClimate News on Tuesday at a meeting of the Southern States Energy Board, according to WEKU.

On Monday, Thunberg gave an impassioned plea before a United Nations panel on climate change.
People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth, Thunberg said in a clip that went viral.
Bevins comments came as the energy board, made up of 16 southern states, discussed energy and environment policies.

Absolutely no willingness to even engage the issue halfway, it's just deny deny deny.
Fuck off Governor.
