They know the democrats already know everything, and to continue supporting Rump will be political suicide once it all comes out.

Also explains Rump's desperate phone call to Nancy.

2. Yes, I had same thought. Whistleblower's lawyers probably briefed Adam Schiff.

Which explains the announcement from the 7 former Intelligence / National Security Representatives who are Democrats.

Think once Schiff knew about the whistleblower, they planned how this would all go down. And Schiff probably found out from the lawyers, not a leak in the Administration.
