I just don't get that Congress has another 2-week break after this Friday.

Anyone know what this upcoming break is about?

They just got back to work early this month after six weeks off.

I hope the Speaker suspends this break. I mean who can get anything done with the impeachment inquiry with these constant breaks.

At times of outrage, it is helpful for the Congresspeople to hear from their home communities in person. I believe there will be some lively town halls over the two weeks.

Almost 15 percent of the Democratic members of the House are Jewish.

House schedule

Breaks give the reps opportunity to go back to their districts & meet with their constituents. Well, dems do, anyway. repubs less & less.
