My biggest question on the prospects of achieving a conviction in the Senate: Mitt Romney

Does Mitt Romney have the stones to make a play?

He's the only one that makes sense for 2020 in the current Republican party. Does he find the courage and attempt to peel off 5-10 Republican Senators and make a play for the 2020 nomination?

Should be fun to watch!

he is again in the Senate - ket him in the game.

His credentials:

Opposes Russia and warned about his 2012 campaign. while many Dems laughed at him-he was right and they were wrong.

Was strong against immigration-so anti-immigration Republicans will back him

Ethics-for a Republican his has positive record on ethics

Health insurance-Romneycare.

His problem_the Bush faction of the Republican Party is not very supportive of Romney-they may prefer to cede 2020 and a four year presidency to a Democrat they might consider malleable, and then bide their time until 2024.
