I bet Trump would resign IMMEDIATELY, if...

Nancy and the Dems were to offer him a deal NOT to further investigate his finances, or prosecute him once he's out of office.

He hates the job and will never do the work required of a real President.

He has no policies or agenda he wants for the country.

He's already gotten what he wanted: ATTENTION. NOTORIETY. (Now history can't possibly ignore Donald Trump!)

He's been busted, he's confessed - there's hard evidence of a crime that's easy to explain and understand.

He'll settle for resignation, just like (contrary to what he claims) he almost always settles his lawsuits.

that resignation is his best option and I would gladly accept it.

It should be floated. Maybe he will realize that it is the only winning he has left.

And no one in the federal government could stop state attorneys general from going after Trump.

If he did leave we will then need to deal with Pence and the many many trump boot lickers who he put in for many years. It is not just him anymore and he made damn sure of that. Unless we are able to find the slim chance of getting his appointed scum out before they even further destroy this country we are still screwed.

That is the mistake this country continuously makes. Every time we forgive or make a deal the scum of our country get more brazen and exponentially more dangerous. This country will not heal until we humiliate, prosecute, and rain down the wrath of justice on those who mess with our democracy.

This is our final stand. If we don't get this motherfucker and his minions removed and jailed, we will easily find ourselves living under an authoritarian regime. Democracy will become nothing more than a fading image only seen through a review mirror.

No mercy. No deals. No exceptions!

He's not going to "fold". He'll fight and fight and fight. And there is a good chance he'll avoid conviction by the Senate.
