Yo, there's a second whistleblower, who alleges Trump tried to interfere with the IRS audit of his taxes
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-tax-whistleblower-irs_n_5d8bafc6e4b08f48f4ae8978
But Ways and Means Chair Richard Neal (D-Mass.) is far less outspoken than Schiff, and his approach to the tax case has been cautious. He decided to stay focused on the lawsuit, using the whistleblowers material to bolster that case.
In a brief last month, the committee told the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that a federal employee had approached them with evidence of possible misconduct and inappropriate efforts to influence an IRS audit of the president. The document provided no further detail about the whistleblower, but in a footnote, Democrats offered to tell U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden all about it in private.
A spokesman for the committee said this week that McFadden, a Trump nominee who donated to the Trump 2016 campaign and volunteered for the Trump presidential transition, has so far not asked to hear more about the whistleblower. He denied a Democratic motion to speed up the case.

(8,679 posts)All they need, they have........THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT.
And if something happens to any of the older good judges, it will get even worse.
I cannot imagine it can get worse than Gorsuch and Kavanauh, but I'm sure they can find one that is even worse.....
The US Supreme Court doesn't even need jurisdiction or a need to have the legal right to jump in and decide a case.
Case in point, the 2000 election when they ordered the re-count to be stopped in Florida.

(38,324 posts)I hear the train a comin'
It's rollin' 'round the bend
And I ain't seen the sunshine
Since, I don't know when
I'm stuck in Folsom Prison
And time keeps draggin' on
But that train keeps a-rollin'
On down to San Antone
When I was just a baby
My Mama told me, "son
Always be a good boy
Don't ever play with guns"
But I shot a man in Reno
Just to watch him die
When I hear that whistle blowin'
I hang my head and cry
I bet there's rich folks eatin'
In a fancy dinin' car
They're probably drinkin' coffee
And smokin' big cigars
Well, I know I had it comin'
I know I can't be free
But those people keep a-movin'
And that's what tortures me
Well, if they freed me from this prison
If that railroad train was mine
I bet I'd move it on a little
Farther down the line
Far from Folsom Prison
That's where I want to stay
And I'd let that lonesome whistle
Blow my blues away

(5,995 posts)While in an individual case, they might argue it's within the purview of the office, recurring instances on multiple actions point to a pattern that reinforce each other, i.e. 6 counts of obstruction of Congress (one for each Committee).
