The source said that it opens a path for Democrats to pursue impeachment. The context of the comments were typical Republican-speak nonsense - yeah, it's bad but whaddaya gonna do? I know...we'll just claim it's a partisan attack.

may be 100% fiction. Does that matter? Maybe not? But hell, as journalists they should at least be saying that it is completely unsubstantiated. And debating against a fictional document is insane in itself.

Think about it...if you were re-creating a meeting based on notes...you would NOT write it in the same style...like a real transcript. And no one likely took any freakin notes.
