Echoes of Watergate...our modern day Deep Throat...
"Deep Throat" was the famous moniker attached to the informant for Woodward and Bernstein in the Watergate investigation. His identity remained hidden until many years later, 31 to be exact in 2005. He was Deputy Director of the FBI Mark Felt.

Frankly, I hope the ID of this whistleblower remains hidden for as long. His life will be in danger in many ways if it is.
