Out of boredom I flipped over to Fox News this afternoon to see how they're spinning the phone call with the Ukraine. Martha McCallum had Lindsey Graham on and he was absolutely incredulous that democrats would find anything untoward in the conversation.
He said, and I paraphrase, that "Quid Pro Quo is where someone says they'll take something away from you if you don't do what they want, and Trump didn't do that". Actually, that's the definition of extortion and Lindsey's right. Trump didn't do that. Instead, he held money back ten days before the call and kept it over their head unless they did his bidding, or "you do for me, and I'll do for you", the very translation of Quid Pro Quo.
This is the format at Fox as well as talk radio. With no one on air to make a counterpoint, facts are anything they want to say. No wonder their viewers are so ignorant.

He Started as a typical, normal ambitious Republican who saw the possibility of becoming a national power broker.
He has turned into some kind of soulless, twisted Lord of the Rings character.
