And I'm okay if he does it, because NY is waiting for him. Mueller gave them all the ammunition they need for a mob takedown.

Impeachment is specifically mentioned in the Constitution as one of the instances where a President cannot issue a pardon.

Pence could still pardon Trump for federal crimes he committed but hasn't been prosecuted for, just as Ford did for Nixon. Unfortunately for Ford, that cost him the 1976 election.

I don't think he's capable of that kind of planning. Plus, he's convinced he's innocent and knows the Senate will never convict.

I hope I'm wrong about that last part. It's hard to guess what needs to come out for Republicans to be willing to turn against him.
