play the cards we are dealt. "You gotta know when to hold 'em, when to walk away and when to run."

I'm not sure how this is an endorsement for any candidate. To your point, "they will Back Trump", I think not, they will serve their own self interests, judging prospects for short term increased assets and liabilities.
