Keep in mind that this is a sick person. I deal with people like this in my career. It is called "crazy" because it is dysfunctional. It doesn't make sense in any functional way. Trying to make sense of it will make you go in circles.

You have to start from the understanding that it will not make sense in any rational way. Then you might gain some underanding. I have to try to do that to try to help them but in this particular instance we need to crush the fucker.

No mercy.
