Found out just how smart my 10 year old grandniece is

I stopped by my sister-in-law's this evening & several of the grands were there. SIL & I were discussing Trump's recently announced visit to Minneapolis scheduled for October 10. I commented that we should go downtown for "the festivities" that day.

I notice the 10 year old giving me the full Greta Glare.

"What?", I asked.

"You like Trump?" she spits out in horror.

Her mother, her grandmother, and I all scream "No!"

"Why do you want to see him?"

I explained that I don't want to see him, I want go downtown to protest. That she understood and thought that she might enjoy going along.

Such a bright, bright child.

By using empathy, compassion, kindness and she'll feel your message. If you try to reach her by invoking what everyone does or anything for faces sake, you'll hit a dead end.
