Probably one of his campaign babyminders told him he needed the apostrophe to show the missing G was deliberate, and his tiny brain interpreted that as meaning that placing a random apostrophe on the end of any intentionally misspelled word was the right thing to do. Years later that glob of Trumpknowledge bubbles back to the surface, and he is so proud of himself for remembering to use punctuation other than an exclamation mark that he gets all butthurt when CNN doesn't recognise his genius by reprinting it.

Cue misspelled tweet boasting about his spelling prowess and his unique personal interpretation of the rules and terminology of English grammar.

In his case, it isn't a hyphen (which was clearly wrong) nor an apostrophe (which was what he meant in his "perfect" tweet): it's a nervous tic.
