@realDonaldTrump
Rep. Adam Schiff fraudulently read to Congress, with millions of people watching, a version of my conversation with the President of Ukraine that doesnt exist. He was supposedly reading the exact transcribed version of the call, but he completely changed the words to make it...

...sound horrible, and me sound guilty. HE WAS DESPERATE AND HE GOT CAUGHT. Adam Schiff therefore lied to Congress and attempted to defraud the American Public. He has been doing this for two years. I am calling for him to immediately resign from Congress based on this fraud!

(9,670 posts)His stabs at Pelosi and Schiff are remarkably hollow and poorly presented. It's like Trump called Hannity last night and asked him "What do I say? What can I do here?" and Sean answered "I got nothing".

(18,837 posts)We also know Paul Ryan is working on Lachlan Murdoch to pull away from Trump in general, but we also have no idea how much "pull" he has. He's accurately seen as someone who could have done something about Trump when he was in office, but chose a soft landing with his tail tucked between his legs.
I don't see Hannity as a rat willing to go down with the ship. I think he'll be in a long as he thinks McConnell will block an impeachment vote, but who knows...he may bail before it comes to that.
Trump's mental state has been rapidly spiraling downward in the last week...there's only so long that even HANNITY will cheer him on from the sidelines.

(7,947 posts)Trump (in Ryan's eyes) made him a failure who had to quit. There's no love there. And Ryan thinks he has the "stature" and "charisma" (in his own head, only!) to be president-- more than Pence, certainly. So he's positioning himself as the next "head of the GOP."
Got to kick Trump out first.

I know full well that they lie to the rubes to push the republican agenda, but no one at Fox ever thought the day would come when Trump would hang himself with his constant lying and cheating?

(7,616 posts)They had NO answer to Fux and AM hate and appeared to just ignore it. I know it costs an incredible amount of money to buy a media answer, Air America failed, not enough sponsors and full on attack by the RW, GOP and their donors I suppose.
I have to believe this is part of the reason people like AOC were elected last midterm and thank gawd they were. I'm pleased and encouraged Nancy, Chuck and others are finally on board and getting to work on Impeachment.

(36,421 posts)& run it at a loss if necessary. It would be a better use of his money than running for president. We have the facts on our side. And we have smart, funny people. Humor trumps fear & hate. I honestly believe that. But we don't even have a voice out there. Limbaugh & his ilk go totally unchallenged for hours everyday.

All the serious entertainment talent is on our side so we could capture audiences that way and educate them politically along the way. IOW, it doesn't have to be 24/7 politics.
