MSNBC: Depositions will involve Trump, Pence, Barr, Giuliani, Pompeo

It looks like subpoenas are being issued for Pompeo and Giuliani but are expected to include Barr, Pence and Trump himself. They are going to depose them all.

Just reported on MSNBC (Chuck Todd’s show),

We here already suspected that was going to happen, but it looks like it really is.

And it will happen over the next few weeks, not months.

Edit to Add: If they all go down on this, it will be an insane few months to watch all of it happen.

Can you say President Pelosi?

that's great news!! Asshole Trump thought he could ignore subpoenas for docs & stop witnesses from testifying! But he's finding out, that wasn't a good strategy!

He has told his band of mobsters to ignore subpoenas so far and they have, with no consequences. Why would they show up for this?

Wasn't Clinton forced to testify? They don't have to answer if they plead the 5th.

Deny, then claim attorney client privilege or executive privilege, then on followup proudly state he did whatever the inquiry asks him about, with unprompted details

I don't expect it, but if he does...going to need a higher capacity popcorn maker

ignored, openly defied and scoffed at with zero consequences. That same defiance applies to what we thought were all other traditionally accepted norms and laws. It will now be interesting to see if the Ukraine affaire boots this up to a much more serious level where flaunting Congressional subpoenas will not be tolerated.

It's a coverup of a cover-up. And it hands the 2020 election to the dems.

I would expect them each to have depositions scheduled separately. Wouldn't that normally be the case?

There is a 0% unemployment rate among attorneys up and down the east coast. Even the attorneys have attorneys!
